Overview of Reliance Mutual Fund

Reliance Mutual Fund is one of the foremost mutual funds in India which is also a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani (ADA) group. The mutual fund company provides the investors a complete product suite of portfolio in order to fulfill varying investor requirements. Reliance Mutual Fund extend its presence in 160 cities across the country. This mutual fund industry consistently engages itself in launching various product and customer service initiatives in order to enhance the value in the eyes of investors.

Reliance Mutual Fund (RMF) has been incepted as a trust under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882. Reliance Capital Limited(RCL) acts as the sponsor of the company whereas Reliance Capital Trustee Company plays the role of the Trustee.

Reliance Mutual Fund has been registered with the Securities ​​& Exchange Board of India (SEBI) vide a registration number MF/022/95/1 dated June 30, 1995. Later on, the name of Reliance Capital Mutual Fund got changed to Reliance Mutual Fund with effect from March 11,2004 vide SEBI's letter no. IMD/PSP/4958/2004 dated March 11,2004. RMF was constituted to launch different schemes under which units are issued to the public with an emphasis to contribute to the capital market and to offer the investors various avenues to make investments in diversified securities.

4. Gold Funds

Gold Funds are aimed towards generating returns that closely correspond to the returns harnessed by the price of gold through investment in physical gold. Reliance Gold Savings Fund is one such gold fund offered by Reliance Mutual Fund.

5. Retirement Fund-Equity & Debt

This fund is aimed to offer capital growth and continual income to the investors which are attuned to their retirement goals by investing in a combination of securities comprised of equity, equity related securities and fixed income instruments. It is basically a tax-saving cum pension scheme offered to those investors who plan for their retirement. There are only two retirement funds which are offered by Reliance Mutual Fund :
